Your personal holy grail

I have some good news and I have some bad news. Only you get to be you, and you don’t get to be anybody else.

If you want to be the best artist, that is, human, you can be – singer, teacher, writer, thinker, potter, chef, mother – you must seek outside, look inside, test, reconsider, revisit, edit, prune, enjoy, move, rest, and dozens of other verbs. The work never stops, but it doesn’t mean that you’ll never “arrive”. You’re already there, kiddo, especially if you are constantly striving for deeper understanding – especially if you care deeply.
