What are they getting at? a new series

Teaching voice cannot be as objective as teaching piano, because the instrument is ourselves! This creates all kinds of psychological, physical, and acoustical differences among singers. Look out for this new series, where I look at common creative instructions given in voice lessons. I’ll be focusing on the ones that don’t make a lot of sense on the surface, but nonetheless may have value.
